Care & maintenance · Everyday protection
Care for your stone and cabinetry.
Care starts with knowing exactly which material and finish you have. Keep the product details and manufacturer guidance from your installation. These everyday notes are a starting point; use the instructions for your specific surface, cabinetry and hardware when choosing cleaners or treatments.

Natural stone
Use a suitable neutral cleaner and a soft cloth; rinse and dry as directed. Blot spills promptly. Avoid acidic cleaners on acid-sensitive stones, including marble. Use trivets and cutting boards. Ask whether your chosen stone requires sealing: a sealer improves resistance to staining rather than making stone stain-proof. Persistent stains or etched areas deserve stone-specific professional advice.
Quartz and other manufactured surfaces
Quartz does not need sealing. Use the selected manufacturer’s routine cleaner and instructions. Protect surfaces from hot cookware and direct cutting, and avoid impact at exposed edges. Do not escalate to aggressive chemicals, abrasive pads or scraping without product-specific guidance. Porcelain and sintered surfaces also require the exact product’s care instructions.
Cabinetry and hardware
Wipe with a soft, nonabrasive cloth and a cleaning method approved for the finish. Dry moisture promptly; do not leave damp towels over doors. Limit prolonged steam and direct heat near cabinetry, and follow appliance instructions. If a hinge loosens or a finish changes, describe the issue before attempting a repair that could make assessment more difficult.

When should I reseal natural stone?
There is no single schedule for every stone and sealer. Ask the supplier about the selected material, finish, product and use rather than applying a universal interval.
